I am a qualified Equine Body Worker covering South West Wales.
Certified by Equinology, Inc©

  •  Equine Sports Massage Therapy is a hands-on application for assessing the overall condition of a horse and relieving tense, tight and sensitive muscles.
  • 60% of a horses total body weight is skeletal muscle.
  • Massage Therapy benefits all horses whatever their use / discipline - from a pleasure horse to a competitive sports horse to a retired field companion.
  • The health and performance of a horse is improved using massage, stress point therapy and stretches.
  • If a horse has muscle spasms these are an indication of tightened muscles.  Tightened muscles will have an adverse effect on a horses performance.
  • Massage Therapy is always applied before exercise.  This puts restricted muscles in a greater state of pliability and exercise following the massage will allow the horse to work out of a problem.

Massage is never a replacement for proper veterinarian care.
